Our worship is rooted in ancient Christian tradition. Our services consist of prayer, reading of Holy Scripture, a sermon or reflection on the Bible readings for the day, and the sharing of Holy Communion. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive the bread and the wine alongside our members.
We are connected to the larger Episcopal Church through the Book of Common Prayer. Common here means shared not ordinary. We share "common" prayer with all Episcopal Churches. Our music varies, but you will most likely find traditional hymns sung with organ accompaniment.
Our services are led by priests who are ordained, as well as trained lay persons. In the Episcopal Church all lay persons, regardless of sex, gender, or disability are welcome to serve.
