Advent Dinners - December 4, 2024

Mark your calendars for our upcoming Wednesdays in Advent! Not just for families! Everyone is invited to gather together December 4th, 11th, and 18th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Reconciliation. Come have dinner and enjoy this time with your parish family.

December 4: Join us for chili, hot chocolate, and a Christmas ornament workshop.
December 11: Join us for pizza, popcorn, and let's watch the movie "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!
December 18: Join us for tamales, a pinata, and a Posada!*

What is a Posada? It is a traditional Latino celebration where people walk in procession with candles and reenact the struggle of Joseph and Mary by knocking on different doors. Songs are sung to ‘reject’ the participants of the procession just as Joseph and Mary were turned away. We will walk around our Rec campus looking for shelter, and end up in Brown Hall for dinner. We will need lots of kids to help us knock on doors!
