Reaching Maximum Independence
During the week, our classrooms at Rec are used by a group called RMI (Reaching Maximum Independence). You will see them walking around the campus, eating lunch in Brown Hall, and living life together with our community. The mission of Reaching Maximum Independence, Inc. (RMI) is to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their maximum level of independence. On Sunday, you will even find them participating in our services. Our "Friends of RMI" ministry allows us to have one-on-one time with this joyful bunch and join them in their daily activities.
